Conditions of admission
- Completion of compulsory education
- Styrian law decision: All costs arising for the project are being covered (LEVOIID).
Children and teenagers, who desire to move into the dorms of the ABZ, need to apply at the "Trainingswohnunge für Menschen mit Behinderung" so that all the arising costs can be covered by the official institutions. The application forms are to be handed in at the local authorities; that is at the Graz City Council (Amtshaus Schmiedgasse, 2. floor). It is highly recommended to hand in all the available reports and forms on the respective handicap of the applicant. - Then, parents or caregivers need to come with their children for an official interview. The dates and times are to be fixed with Mrs. Karin Hackler (0316/692576 DW 36).
Our team members work on creating a career plan for each participant individually.
As soon as the applicant is officially admitted to the program our staff helps in finding the most suitable apprenticeship possible.
Career Orientation
At the beginning of the project participants are asked to join a career orientation program. During this time, we work hard on finding out what the most suitable profession for the individual participant is.
Training at the ABZ
In case it shows that the participant has problems standing a whole day's work, we offer the opportunity to provide special training (lasting from a few weeks up to an entire year) at our institution.

- Lehre lt. Berufsausbildungsgesetz (BAG) (mit Lehrabschlusszeugnis)
- Integrative Lehre nach § 8b 1 BAG (verlängerte Lehre mit Lehrabschlusszeugnis)
- Teilqualifizierung mit Ausbildungsvertrag nach § 8b 2 BAG (Zertifikat durch die Wirtschaftskammer)
