Foundation Jupident
Welcome !
Jupident is located in Schiens, Vorarlberg. The institution accommodates 130 children and teenagers and helps them cope as best as possible with their situation. They are encouraged to go to a special education school, they live in dorms with their peers and residence assistances, and they receive daily health and medical care and are given the opportunity to learn a trade.
In 1858, Josef Anton Jochhum, a parish priest from Schwarzach, formulated a guiding principle:
"The private foundation aims at helping children and teenagers, who are in need of its care and support."
As one of the oldest social institutions of the country, we want to take over responsibility and pursue a greater goal:
"We want to transmit a feeling of security and stability to our children within our community; and perfectly prepare them for their future integration into the greater society."
The project is being financed by the federal government of Vorarlberg and other institutions.
