Professional Preschool (BVS)
This unique facility for the disabled has been designed for the ones who have special educational needs and for pupils who are in need of a greater amount of care and service. Also, the center is open for pupils of secondary modern schools (integration classes; 3rd ability group) as well as for pupils who have problems finding a job after having completed their compulsory education.
The BVS offers a two year long education program. At the end of the program a certificate can be acquired. Each lesson has been designed for three different ability groups. Each group consists of no more than 8 pupils. The following subjects are to be found on the schedule:
- German
- Mathematics
- English
- Computer science
- Cooking
- Handicrafts
- Gardening
In fact, the focus of attention can be given to the following aspects:
- Formulating applications
- Visiting various firms and factories
- Consultation
- Giving information
- Arranging practical trainings
